      They definitely made the correct call. Time to save money by eliminating non essential classes and school lunches. Music, arts, gym, drama, and lunches all need to get shifted onto the parents not the tax payers. Prolly a good idea to get rid of busses too, bring back carpooling with strangers.

      But 2k is a huge house and definitely not a starter home. Starter homes are like 1000-1300 sqft. And it is the Starter home that is desperately needed the most.

      Since land costs the same no matter if you build a small house or large house, I think we have seen the end of the traditional starter home. Every new house I see going up is 2+ bedroom and 2 bath. The one bedroom, one bathroom, with a full kitchen, living room, and garage is a thing of the past.

      Had an interview yesterday. Was supposed to be a 25 minute call, ended up being an hour. I have another interview next week with a 3-6 person panel. The downside is 75%-90% travel required. The fiance seems indifferent about it. I am deeply afraid that she may change her mind if I get the job.
