      AK 47 Show and Tell

No, it's just because of how the scabbard fits into the leather frog. Those are Romanian bayonets and they have a much larger, full-length leather frog than other types of AK bayonets. The scabbard has a protrusion, and the button on the handle sticks out, so it's better to have them facing...

      AK 47 Show and Tell

I still need bayonets for my two K31s, two K98s, and some other stuff. One day...

Tucker in Moscow to Interview Putin

I was pretty excited for this. Hopefully I get to listen while I'm working today. I agree.

      AK 47 Show and Tell

Also, my AK bayonet collection. I've added to this a lot recently, found some good deals on AKfiles.

      AK 47 Show and Tell

My (almost) fully pimped-out Polish Beryl in 5.56. Also featuring my SAR-1 with my new PK-A Venezuela red dot.

Ex US M1 240mm siege howitzer

Russian 203mm howitzers are cool too. They were used at Stalingrad.

      AK 47 Show and Tell

That really sucks for your friend. Thats the first time I've heard someone say that it wouldn't hold zero.

      AK 47 Show and Tell

My brand new Beryl. I've got the adjustable stock coming in the mail. Still need to find an optics rail.

      Left Behind Firearms LLC

You're mistaken. I think you're confusing the SAR-1 with the "Romy G", which was a semi auto only variant of the PM Md. 63 which was issued to Romanian Civil guard units. Many Romy Gs were brought in as kits. The SAR-1 was manufactured for export to the United States, and the reason it lacks a...

Correct, and that was because of stupid laws that have thankfully gone away. Once my barrel is threaded and bayo lugs added I will essentially have a direct clone of a Romanian AKM.

      2023 NRA Convention

Is it worth going for more than one day? Do they have different stuff on different days?

      Left Behind Firearms LLC

I actually did, I searched this site for "left behind firearms" and found maybe 2 or 3 posts mentioning them and none with firsthand experience. I'm looking at this smith in particular because they have a whole page dedicated to AKs on their site. Searching for gunsmiths in general isn't that...

      Left Behind Firearms LLC

Anyone have experience with them? They're down in Rushville. I've been emailing them about having some work done on my SAR-1 AK (standard deban, remove and swap gas block and thread the muzzle). I'm specifically looking for reviews from guys who have had AK work done by them. They quoted me a...

      2023 NRA Convention

I'll be going. It will be my first time and I really have no idea what to expect. I'm only planning on going on Saturday.

      Muncie, March 25th & 26th

I went. Pretty neat selection of stuff. Bought an East German wieger mag for $25. I regretted buying food because the toppings for sandwiches at the food stand were not exactly being handled in the most sanitary manner.

      Indy 1500: 10-12 March

I was at the show, I showed up at 9 on Saturday morning so parking was a breeze for me. It was a pretty typical 1500 (I go to almost every one). I was the guy wearing Belgian camo with an East German paratrooper vest and a backpack full of rare Czech camouflage which I had just bought. As usual...

      Looking for a safe mover

Long overdue update. It went off without a hitch. I will warn you though - I didn't know what I was getting in to when he asked me if I would be able to "help" over the phone. I had to be on the bottom end of the safe moving it down the stairs. Everything was fine but I didn't exactly feel safe...
