I traded guns with another member, and it went very well. I'd like to post in the good bad and ugly forum about it but that option doesn't appear, only an ad.
That looks pretty sweet, if I already had a glock, I'd get one.
Yeah, problem is I read that Hi-point firing pins routinely get bent in the 9mm carbines. Especially when you insult their intelligence. But seriously, I've read enough that I don't think I could trust my life to it. I feel it's...
Actually I searched and couldn't find anything specifically about the firing pin bending, which was actually one of the main reasons I was asking. Thanks for the info, I appreciate it.
I want to get a 9mm carbine for home defense. I currently am using a 12ga single-shot, but I want something my wife can use comfortably. (ok me too, it hurts lol) I noticed a hi-point carbine on the shelf at a sporting goods store awhile back, and I've been looking at them. The only bad thing I...
I am somewhat familiar with Mindset Lab. I heard about them on INGO and have taken intro to FoF. I'm not currently signed up due to money issues but I definitely plan on taking more classes in the future.
Part of your problem is you chose a very small framed gun. Try a larger framed gun and see how you like it. I'm not an expert on revolvers but I would recommend a Smith and Wesson 686 or a Ruger GP100 in .357 magnum to start out. It will be a lot harder to conceal carry, but it will be...
Who's bossing anyone around? All mrjarrell did was point out that a candidate is refusing to debate an opposing candidate. I'll bet if Obama refused to debate Romney during the campaign it would be all over INGO about what a piece of poop he is. In fact, I'll bet if mrjarrell had posted a thread...
I'm not a bit surprised.
No, you've got it wrong. The first amendment guarantees that the government will not infringe upon your right to peaceably assemble, not that no one will infringe upon that right. In this case, to protect one group's right to assemble peacefully, they would have to...

This president is quickly proving himself to be the biggest police state advocate we've had in the white house in quite some time. Private individuals were handling this issue just fine before the...
And I don't want my own children in the hands of people who are going to spew government propaganda. Damned if you do and damned if you don't. I guess you could just homeschool. :dunno:
Don't worry about being rude. The worst case scenario if you're rude (and loud enough so other people can hear you) is you might hurt somebody's feelings who meant no harm. On the other hand, the worst case scenario for you being polite could be much worse.
The issues I've heard about came from people switching back and forth between steel cased and brass (mainly in the AR-15 platform). Apparently they expand differently and can cause problems. And thanks for all the answers, I'll be trying out steel case ammo next time I shoot. :yesway:
I've been oogling Spike's website lately and all their AR's seem to run at least $1100. Got any good resources where I can see their lower priced rifles?
