      Concealed Carry No-Nos

I've never heard of a Conceal Carry Badge until reading this thread. One of the perfect oxymorons.

      Pulled over by ISP

I am blessed to be friends with an ISP officer, who also is a weapons instructor. He gave me plenty of real world, common sense advice on different LTCH scenarios. He advised me that if I was pulled over for a traffic violation: Inform the officer that I have a LTCH. He will ask me if my weapon...

What Watches Do INGO Members Wear? "What's on your forearm"?

After retiring I sold all of my watches except a Seiko for dress occasions and a $7 Walmart watch that’s comfortable & looks good. The money made from selling watches was reinvested in ammo.

      Winter Weapon Carry

Maybe I’m a little late in asking this. With winter here. We’re wearing long length winter coats and full coveralls. How are you guys & gals safely carrying so you can quickly get to your weapon? Although I’ve looked at YouTube videos, the reason for my question is to get some guidance on the...

      NASCAR Complaints

No offense to NASCAR fans, it's extremely boring to watch. I grew up watching it in the late 60s - mid 70s. Back then, money & profits weren't the worshiped God as it is now. The drivers were down to earth back then, not the hyper-celebrities as they are now.

Have you ever bought a gun by accident?

10 years ago I was shopping in a newly opened pawn shop. While waiting to make my purchase, another customer asked if he could sell them his .38 revolver. The owner said he couldn't buy it because he didn't have his FFL. I asked the guy if I could examine his gun. Then I asked how much he wanted...

Henderson Kentucky Man Shoots Himself While Unloading His Pistol

Another tragedy in the SW Indiana tristate. I wish the authorities would release the details about this. Death investigation underway in Henderson County

Gun discharge at Eastland Mall, Evansville

Seems like there's been a lot of trouble at Eastland Mall. Glad I haven't been there in decades. Don't plan to go there ever...unless they get a gun store, used machinery store and a motorcycle shop there.

Gun discharge at Eastland Mall, Evansville

There is plenty of free information on how to carry, safely in different circumstances. There's no excuse for irresponsibility!

Gun discharge at Eastland Mall, Evansville

Lots of stupid and tragic gun events are happening in E-ville.

Gun discharge at Eastland Mall, Evansville

As I understand: It was a pocket carry, no holster. This is why we invest in holsters.

How often do you dream of having a 'defensive gun use' situation?

No. Never. Most of my dreams make no sense. But I wish I could dream in porn.

What’s your favorite semi-auto for conceal carry?

Taurus PT111 G2. My only carry gun. I chose it because of the feel, price, ratings and 12+1 capacity. Conceal/carries fine in cold & hot weather. Over 600 rounds at the range without issue (except for operator error). I won't say it's a perfect fit for everyone, but I'm satisfied.

A Tragedy About A Child & A Gun. Evansville, In.

This mornings news reports that the child will live. There are no charges against the adults, although police are searching for a person who left the scene. The gun was obviously racked with one in the chamber. I hope the police determine who's responsible and prosecute them. This incident is...

A Tragedy About A Child & A Gun. Evansville, In.

The area where the incident happened is one that having defensive weapons is necessary (IMO). Without knowing any more details to the story, I can't have more of an opinion. Except that anytime we have friends with children to visit our home, I secure all of the house guns, except the one that I...

A Tragedy About A Child & A Gun. Evansville, In.

I'm always sad to see news stories about this. A 2 year old child shot herself. I don't know anything more about the story. However, I wish the gun owner would have taken steps to prevent this. http-::44news.wevv.com:witness-sought-connection-shooting-2-year_old:

Real Men Don't Carry Pocket Pistols I found this to be hilarious YMMV

Good read and videos. I still feel safe with my 9mm Taurus. Always first practice awareness and avoidance. Visit the range at least once a month. Pray that if I'm ever confronted, my opponent(s) will walk away.
