Here's one of a bed I made for the wife and I. I couldn't find any pictures of it stained and totally finished. I love doing projects like this, just space is an issue.
They are beautiful rifles indeed. I passed on one just a few months ago. A well loved but still nice 99 in .308. I had my eye on a different gun at the time and let that savage slip through my fingers. It honestly haunts me now and I won't be satisfied until I own one just like it. Lesson...
Have several Pro Mags for a couple of different pistols. The fit is noticeably worse than OEM for all of them. They function well enough for a good time on the range, but I would never trust my life to them in a carry gun.
Ordered a kydex for my Sig 365 from concealment express. IWB with a sweatgaurd. It's OK, the sweat gaurd will pinch a bit carrying appendix while sitting or driving. The retention is good also.
Check with local gun clubs, some have components for sale. My club has opened up selling primers to non-members. I'm sure others are doing similar things.
An original Remington 51. It looks fine ,until you notice the "sights". That always gets comments and laughs. Anyone who owns one knows exactly what I mean
