The smaller the gun the more recoil it has assuming the same caliber. My little Keltec P3AT is not really a fun gun to shoot, but it carries easy. I would like to get my hands on a Ruger LCP.
I pocket carry weak side originally because my pocket gun was a back up and then once It became my primary putting it in my strong side pocket seemed awkward to me.

I used to carry on the belt strong side and in the pocket weak side. This allowed me to draw with either hand (notice i said either not both). Also if I am wearing a winter coat I can still draw from my jeans pocket.

Those blow molded cases in a Bluepoint or Craftsman brand are usually the best value for getting a lot of tools. Even if you throw the case away!
I have mostly Snap-On tools, but I do have a blow molded set from Husky/ Home Depot that I kept in wheeling truck and it has done me well.
