Get with me in a couple of weeks and lets see if we can get a date nailed down for the Sausagefest. That way we can get some feedback from the core group on what will work for them.
They also make an 870 with a 21 vent rib with rem choke tubes. This should do 99% of what you want. You still should be able to shot slugs and clay type sports with no problems
on a side note: i cut the crap out of my middle finger on a BRAND NEW 80 grit blaze last night
I thought you learned a lesson the last time you did that
Sounds like you have the sights covered add a Nordic Comp. mag ext, big head safety, Mesa side saddle and have the stock fitted to you with a good recoil pad

Joe did those three for me. They are from a drawing a brother sent me a week before he was killed in an accident. Joe did an outstanding job on them and they went to the wife, brother and nephew of my friend.
I would use a 1.5 X 4 or 1.5 X 6 on it I think these power ranges are great for a woods gun. On the low setting you have a large field of view yet you can crank it up for a shot a distance.
I carry one in my bag in the car. I like it you can do mild prying like to jimmy open a door. IT's kind of like having a sharpen pry type tool. PM me if you want more info on it.
The 34 and the 35 come with Glock's target trigger{3.5 connector} and the adjustable sights. Get a better after market trigger and sights to start with and then get the barrel's that you want
