I actually have 2 credit cards, the Citi Costco Card and a card through my bank. The limit is basically the same on both but I haven't used my banks card in forever. I'm going to close the Costco card as soon as I get my rewards from last year and then keep the local bank one open. I probably...
That's my plan from here! Working the steps, should be debt free after I get paid next week. I then have some stuff I need to save up for before I work on step 3.
I tried this but my mind went to "hey you don't have to pay this until next month and surely you will have more money then" and it was building up on me. I never missed paying it in full, but I was close sometimes. I think I am not a credit card person.

That's a good idea! My basement floor isn't very level or smooth across most of it, so I need to figure out a solution that will work with that as well. For right now we are using a folding table but it's just about full so I'll have to do something!
I pretty much do what you do except for rechargeable batteries I use the LADDA batteries from IKEA. Supposedly just like Eneloops but cheaper. I have been really happy with them except for the fact both times I have tried to get them at IKEA they didn't have enough AAAs. I have tons of AAs but...
