      When we say dirty/clean power, are we talking about THD? We have a portable generator that produces less than 1.2% THD at full load. Is this considered clean power? I’d rather not brick our electronics-laden refrigerator if I can help it.

      I’m not sure. My experience has been these things are DOA or they last long enough for me to screw them up. Like, installing DD-WRT and cranking the power output until they crap out.
