I already have an SR9 and SR40 and really like the way they both shoot. I am looking for something smaller to carry. I know everyone has their favorites, but Ruger really makes some quality inexpensive handguns.

Hard to tell what the real story is about ammo. I find 40, 45, 9mm, 357, 380 and 223 on occasion where I live, but everyone has a sell limit of 3 boxes. Probbly a good thing because if it were not for the limit, all ammo would be gone by the time I got to the front of the line.

Have you ever shot wax bullets? That was a very interesting read. But my question that I didn't see was the effects of the wax on the inside of the barrel. I understand wax probably will not damage the barrel but would it make it hard to clean especially if it were to harden...
So it is true, you do learn something new everyday! The idea (simple yet I have not thought about) is the loading 1 shell into a magazine so that you can practice the simple task of reloading while engaging a target (range target) but it does allow for the practice of unload the mag & loading a...
What about revolvers? I have been told that women should shot revolvers because they cannot pull back the slides on semi-autos. What are the experiences out there? A woman's experience would be helpful.
I am seeing prices lower at the local MC sports store than the prices on-line at the "discount" websites. The difference is the MC actually has the guns. The websites don't.
As far as the DA trigger I know not any handgun is alike, but should I expect the revolver in DA to be similar to my DA Sig P250? I am comfortable with this gun and have been pretty accurate with this gun as well but was wondering how the two would compare as far as the trigger pull or is this...
Well I talked to the Rural King manager (which I have known for about 10years) in Kokomo today. He told me that they are expecting their shipment in 2 weeks. He wasn't sure of the exact day but said he was told in 2 weeks since they passed all the inspection and hoops from ATF. The only prices...
Looking for a CC. I like the fact the the Nano is a 9mm as opposed to the LCP. I know it is a little bigger, but I like the way it feels. To me, that is the key factor.
So is the 4" suppose to be a little more accurate because if the longer barrel, longer sight alignment vs the 3" of the ruger? But all the pictures posted of shots with the ruger look to be good, close groupings.
I will definitely check the ruger out at the next gun show if I can find one...or...
I agree with M67. Most people are rarely up to date on products they purchase. If you listen to the media, any rifle, shotgun or other semi-auto gun is somehow an assult weapon. If you don't take the time to understand the difference and listen to the media, I can see how easy it is to be...
