      Recommend Smith To Cut Down Barrels on SxS and Thread For Choke Tubes

      I got a Baikal IZH-43 12ga I’d like to have barrels cut down to 19-20”, left barrel threaded for removable choke tubes, muzzles soldered/re-enforced, however that’s done, and new bead installed. Any Hoosier recommendations?

      I bought a 41 back in the summer and it shot to the left 5” at 10yds supported with four different ammunitions. I had to drift the sight over so far it was hanging over the edge. I just sent it back to them and got it back in a week fixed, but without an explanation of what they had done to it...

      P38 issue

      Shooting my 10/62 P38 tonight, I experienced misfires which led me to believe it broke a firing pin, for there was zero indication of a strike on the primer. This happened after using the decocker...a breeze blew over a target box I had at 50' and I decocked it and stepped down to set it back...

      What do I need to know about AK47s?

      I highly recommend the M92 with the "stabilizing arm brace". Though ya lose around 170fps with six inches less barrel, at 50yds they will group nearly as tight as an N-PAP, my all time best was 1.83", 1.47" was the best I ever got out of the N-PAP. Handier size, and it's little lighter weight...

      Tapco, Romanian, and Yugo mags have worked in mine without a hiccup. Tapco's were a little tight at first till I rocked 'em in and out about 10 times and then they fit like a glove.

      I actually think that if the M92 had a stock I could get that 2.197" more closer to the M70's. It's only has about a 2" shorter sight radius.

      What's your favorite handgun for under $400?

      Zastava PAP M92PV 7.62x39mm! $399 from J&G'S, I've never had a pistol shoot 2" groups at 50yds till I got one. What it lacks in concealability and practicality it sure makes up for in raw power and capacity lol.
