      Calling and asking in such situations is a great idea. The guardhouse at the prisons in my state will hold/lock-up firearms for lawyers making visits.

Never had a light strike in a couple thousand rounds through it (though velocities are low from this gun compared to other guns with similar barrel lengths) and this particular one (very early) has some hand-fitting...
