      Indy 1500 deals

Last year's show was a madhouse. I stood in line outside the building for about an hour on Saturday only to be bumped, jostled and hit it in the head by an idiot shoulder carrying a large rifle. I won't be attending this year.

      Prices coming back down.

Something's Up this Time I'm afraid we're going to see some legislative action or even an executive order from the President clamping down on second amendment rights. The fact the victims in the latest rampage were young children, I fully expect a full on media blast demonizing firearms and...

      Tactical .22 Rifle

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Now I have a place to start research. Hjharnett: I've always been a strong fan of all things Mossberg and was surprised to read of jamming problems. Thanks, I'll stay away from that rifle.

      Tactical .22 Rifle

I'm interested in a tactical .22. I'd like to have something with a sizable magazine, but just a basic model. I would appreciate some feedback as to what to avoid as well as what's the most suitable firearm.

      Sandy Hook: Shooter or Shooters?

This has all the hallmarks of a false flag operation. I haven't done a great deal of research on this incident, but the smiling, laughing father, who then read from cue cards was quite telling. I'm a father and I know I would be devastated and it would be obvious that I was beyond distraught. I...

      Congress gets a pay raise

This news makes me profoundly sad. Our republic was founded on the principal of citizen leaders, not professional politicians. Serving one's fellow citizens should not be a lucrative position, but one motivated by altruism.

Soldiers used to patrol school campuses in Killeen, Texas

I find soldiers acting in a law enforcement environment to be a bit disturbing. As a veteran I realize soldiers aren't trained to enforce laws. I also see this as a symptom of the citizenry giving up and allowing the police state to flourish.

      Black Powder firearms discussion

I've got a hankering for a black powder rifle. MidwayUSA has what appears to be a sweet firearm and is well reviewed. It's a CVA Buckhorn 209 magnum muzzleloading rifle in 50 caliber. I'll bet some of you have one of these little shooters. Are they worth the money? It's cheap at $150.00 plus...

      Martinsville BiWeekly GunShow Ammo Sales?

Thanks for the help, Everyone. That's the place I heard about. I remember Pocket Traders in some context. He also said the place with the buggy in the tree. He meant the VW Bug in a tree at the VeeDub guys place beside the Hillview Motel. I was thinking Amish buggy and didn't track. I can't help...

      Martinsville BiWeekly GunShow Ammo Sales?

I was talking to a dealer at the Stout Field show this weekend and he told me about a market held every two weeks in or around Martinsville. Since I've got CRS disease and I didn't take notes I'm at a complete loss. Anyone know of this sale? From the man's description the ammo prices are cheap...
