      Guardian 9 Fixed Barrel Mount

Okay, so it looks like what has been happening when I take the booster off is that sleeve comes with it. I just have to figure out how to separate the booster and the sleeve now. Is it normally this hard? Anything I should put on it when I reassemble it to keep it from being such a PITA?

      Guardian 9 Fixed Barrel Mount

      Yes there is.

      Guardian 9 Fixed Barrel Mount

It's a different diameter if I take the booster off completely. If I remove the nut on the booster, it's the diameter and thread pattern, but the threads on the fixed mount are much longer, so it can't thread all of the way in.

      Guardian 9 Fixed Barrel Mount

In one of my other threads, I was told I needed the fixed barrel mount to use my Guardian 9 on my carbine, so I wouldnt damage the booster. I ordered the mount from Bud's and confirmed that the part number they shipped me is indeed the G9 Fixed Barrel Mount. I take the nut off of the booster...

      Official NFA pic thread

Guardian 9 on my P226. I could never really picture what people meant when they said to look through the suppressor, but if you look at the last picture you can tell it really isnt to bad.

      Huntertown Arms Guardian 45

Fine, fine, I wont hold out on you guys. I want to remind you that I have no affiliation with Huntertown, I am not a dealer, and I probably shouldnt have a copy of the price list I have. I merely stumbled across while looking for other information. This document is hosted on their website, but I...

      My NFA trust experience

You still pay the $200 tax each time. Other than that, no, you can just add them to the asset sheet, no lawyer required.

      Huntertown Arms Guardian 45

Oh, I have a document with pricing on it. Both dealer pricing and MSRP. And some loose specs.

      My NFA trust experience

Trusts do a few things. For one, they can allow anyone else who is in the trust to possess items in the trust, even if you arent present. So if you add your dad to the trust, you can loan him your SBR. If you didnt have a trust, or if he wasnt part of your trust, that would be illegal. The other...

What do I need to know about my new suppressor?

Ordered it on Friday, received a FedEx tracking number on Saturday with a scheduled delivery date of tomorrow.

Do I need more than 1?

The 223/556 will suppress 22lr, but the pistol may not cycle, and it will be very heavy on the pistol. A larger suppressor, such as a 9mm, will suppress the 22lr as well (not quite as well as a 22 suppressor, but still good) but MOST 9mm suppressors are not rated for 223/556, since it is a rifle...

      What HAVE you carried?

In order: Makarov PT111 P250 SC in 9mm (with grip extension) P226 in 9mm P22 (overlapping with P226, times when I want something smaller) CM9 (replacing the P22, and since it is a 9mm, Im carrying the CM9 a lot more)

      Huntertown Arms Guardian 45

I found a price list that has the Guardian 45 listed on it. Do we have any information on this?

What do I need to know about my new suppressor?

Know any place that stocks them? My stamp just came in, and Im not sure if Midwest will have them, but I would like to be shooting it this weekend! Bud's has them for $30, shipping was $9. It might take a few days, but its probably the cheapest option.

Not even a week after approval, Midwest has my stamp! Im so excited to pick this up after work!

"The deal of the century for Iran" while the rest of us lose -- Netanyahu

Netanyahu can be a little dramatic, and anything he says should be ignored if we really want to negotiate with Iran. If they want to be part of the process, Israel should be open to getting rid of their nuclear weapons and any chemical weapons they may or may not be holding onto. We shouldnt...

What do I need to know about my new suppressor?

Is there a separate adapter for the Guardian 9? I dont think I have ever seen one on their website. If memory serves me correct, some boosters you just take a spring or piston out of. How does this work with the Guardian 9? Im going to be shooting on a carbine quite regularly, so do need to get...

Do I need more than 1?

The rifles could share a 556 suppressor, but on the handgun it would be uncomfortable at best, and not cycle correctly at worse. I would up buying a 9mm suppressor so I could shoot it on my handguns and my 22LR rifles, and I intended to build a subsonic 300BLK AR (can also be used with my...

What do I need to know about my new suppressor?

I have realisitic expectations when I bought it. I watched a lot of videos and absorbed a lot of info on here. I switched to 147gr projectiles when I bought it, so all good on that front. I shoot mostly at indoor ranges, so most of time I will still have to wear hearing protection (probably...
