Early Christians co-opted pagan holidays to try to assist in converting them to Christianity. That is why Easter and Christmas fall where they do.

I see where that would be taken out of context. I was pointing out that's why it is that date and what it is called. The powers that be that made these holidays and the dates they placed them, hate Jesus and celebrate the paganism. I am very Christian! Sorry for any confusion.

We had a lovely Easter Vigil mass last night and my 6 year old did better than expected holding his candle. Nothing caught fire but a fair amount of wax made it on his pants...
