This was one of the most disjointed and contradictory SOTU I've ever seen.

The reactions and facial expressions ofnthe Speaker of the House said it all. One point he just rolled his eyes and looked away.
Amazed that I can still type this. Forced myself to watch Biden's Campaign speech. The TV said "State of the Union" but thru the Bourbon I could not find much in the way of the state of the union. Did finish a full bowl of popcorn along with enough Evan Williams to make it through what ever it was. (Didn't want to touch the good stuff as this speech would have gotten expensive.)

Ha, that’s easy. The same way you do it when you say crime is the lowest it been in X years then say, gun crime is the worst thing happening in America.
Gun laws are getting better for American citizens and he doesn’t make the correlation.
The second he started mentioning I believe it was the Parkland shooting, I text my friend and I said here it comes you just watch! Sure enough it was the talking points they love so much! Assault ban and high capacity magazine ban! I do believe it gets their nipples hard!

It is crazy how many times he said the “greatest threat to democracy” and used the civil war as the last time it was threatened this much. But it was VERY odd he used the exact phrases for multiple different talking points…… so everything going on right now is the worst thing since the civil war….. ok. That’s not hyperbole man history is literally watching us.
The Speaker clapped and nodded in affirmation with the Ukraine issue and the spending to support that war. Perhaps some didn't catch that or don't care, but there are plenty of folks getting rich off of defense spending - and us here typing away aren't any of those folks.
