      DHS in the Weather Business?

I seen this too. Fox 59 posted a link about the DHS weather advisory on my facebook page; I thought it was odd as well.

      +1 Beech Grove Firearms

The new place is great. The interior looks awesome with the wood panelling. Can't wait for the the indoor range to open.

Range Report: Taurus Slim PT709 9mm

I also have a 709 (its my cc) and yes, I had some problems with the Winchester White Box (100 rds) too. But overall I like it. Thinking about getting the 740 version (40 cal).

      Berreta 92

Can't go wrong with them. I used them in the military and own one now. Accurate, reliable and easy to maintain.

      STEAM gamers!

My fav is Red Orchestra and Darkest Hour...these are WW2 fps, Red Orchestra is on the Eastern Front and Darkest on the West Front (D-Day, Bulge, etc.) Pretty good simulation, for squad tactics, shooting and tank crew engagements. Really fun when you get on a server with 50+ battling it out and...

Gunsmith needed to fix canted AK sight

Didn't find out that mine was canted until I went to range and went through many frustrating hours and rounds. I eventually zeroed though. I guess what I'm saying is, if you don't mind your front sight post maxed out to one side, you can still zero and hit targets, if it's not canted too much...

      Hi point Haters

I've had my CF-380 since 2003 and had one misfire and two stoppages. It's accurate and fun to shoot. Not easy to field strip though, you have to use tools. But I love it none the less.

How often do you clean your guns?

I usually do it how I did it in the Army- after every time we went to the range. They'll be times when I won't have enough time to do a thorough cleaning, so I'll at least "punch the tubes" until I get a chance to do a field strip and better cleaning. If it hasn't been fired for a while, I'll...

      Opinion on Taurus?

I own a 709 Slim 9mm since last year; shoots fine. Only issues I notice is that for a little gun that's 9mm, it has a bit of a kick. My 9mm Beretta seems easier to shoot, even though it's bigger. But overall, I'm satisfied. In fact, I'm thinking about the new .40 cal version of the Slim that is...
