      I used to think that. Then I started training and thousands of rounds later SA trigger isn't important anymore. Striker fired is my preference now. I haven't shot a DA/SA in years but I always liked the consistent pull.

      I do not like thumb safeties at all. They are acceptable on 1911's only. When in a high stress situation your fine motor skills need to be sharp.
