      I've got a single shot .357 I'm going the SBR route with, and I'm hoping to find someone local to cut, crown and thread it at 10.5" with a longer than usual 1/2x28 thread so I can use a 3/4x10 adapter to mount my old 2-stage Sionics can from my Mac.       So, I'm converting my Savage 24F (.223 over 12ga), so I'll be shortening the barrels. Would it be best to fabricate a barrel band for this, or just have the barrels TIG welded together before I make the cut?

      Looking for a .357 single shot, CVA would be preferred, looking for one with a heavy enough barrel to thread 3/4x10 for permanent suppressor attachment, will pay a reasonable price or trade silver at spot. Located in Shelbyville, but frequently in Greenfield/Indy.

      Thinking about getting a single-shot breakopen .357, and having it cut/threaded 3/4x10 to match the old 2-stage Sionics style can, then have the can TIG'ed onto it to make a compact integral .357/.38 carbine. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
