      Loading moly bullets??

Moly had some real problems as it is hydroscopic and that can be rough on barrels as the rust starts under the moly coating on the barrel. I run HBN2 as a coating and I can get a few more fps but in .223 I can't get 7 tenths of a grain more powder.

      Interesting FTF with 1911

What is the recoil spring weight you are using? Plus how long has that spring been in the gun? Spring rate for 45 ACP is 16 lbs. If less than that you might have a slow and weak return of the slide not being able to complete chambering. Lastly try a Wilson Mag in your gun, the modified follower...

      Reloading Room Pics

That is a dream reloading/handloading room! Love the bench rest set up to test loads. Only thing is you have to stand to load, me I'm just too old to do that for a long time. One question what custom rifle are you shooting in that picture of the shooting bench?

Ammunition Ballistic Test Videos. Velocity and or Ballistic Gel.

Do you remember the original Norma 10mm load? a 200 grain soft point at 1200 fps? That is what made the 10mm!

      Reloading Data

They test some powders and if a company changes powder composition then it is tested, but lot of times old data is used. Writing and testing load data is expensive, and if they can reuse old data they do. Test barrels, and fixtures, electronics, and firearms are not cheap. Plus the time that...

      Reloading Data

Pressures are still listed in CUP as data might be from different sources. Hodgdon lists both in their manuals, Hodgdon powders are listed as CUP and Accurate Powders are listed as PSI. It all depends on the pressure barrel used. Copper Units of Pressure uses a copper slug that fits the chamber...

      Reloading Data

Some times bullet makers drop powder because they can not get it or demand is low for that powder. Other reason is newer powders are more appropriate for the bullet.

      Reloading Data

I go with bullet manufactures data, having talked to the Sierra's people and Berger people. I may not start out at the beginning or starting load but a quick 10 shot ladder test to see if I have any problems with a powder and record velocity, case head expansion, primer condition, and look for...

Minimum and maximum overall length 22-250

I don't like once fired rifle brass, I don't know how it's been treated or mistreated. Most shooters don't anneal, cut primer pockets and turn necks.

New build started Aero Solus action, 6 GT and 22 GT reloading

But limited bullet selection, I did find "Shooters Reference Load Data" a web site that combines data across manufactures and load data from reloader and handloaders.

Minimum and maximum overall length 22-250

Lapua is not making 22-250 cases at this time. Lapua has cut way back on the number of different cases being made.

Minimum and maximum overall length 22-250

I have been flame annealing for 30 years. I use the Benchmark annealer for 22-250 cases. I am not going to buy a AMP annealer at this point in my life. If I need to I can send out my brass to a friend that can run my brass thru his AMP annealer and have him run my cases thru his AutoDod to...

Minimum and maximum overall length 22-250

I have 2 guns to keep running for P-dogs and expect the brass to last a lot longer than my Hornady or Remington brass that developed neck splits and soft primer pockets after 5 or so firings even with annealing after every firing.
