Save our gun culture ALERT !

"Federal Premium and CCI took applications and requests until April 30. Through a regimented process all 20 million rounds have been allocated." I saw it on the State 4-H shooting sports website. Apparently it wasn't enough.

Surprised they don't share. My understanding is that Marshall co. has inventory they all check out from.

Childrens' firearms programs in need of ammo

I asked it to be a sticky. I scanned last night and couldn't find the other threads to even post the link to this sticky. Would be nice if the mods deleted any new threads and directed them here. FYI there are a few posts that need to be added to the first page.

Childrens' firearms programs in need of ammo

Yes. I was finally able to get this as a sticky but if most are like me I ignore the stickies when surfing as they don't change much. Sounds like the big need was Lasalle Council summer camps for .22. There is still time for those but summer will soon be here. I will post in those other...

Those of you who are helping are commendedand my comments are definitly directed at you. Neither is it directed at those who don t have ammo or very little of it like me. I (and maybe those of you donating) was just thinking there would be more response than I saw. This is such a great...

Ya right. Saw all the post on multiple threads of people eager to help and then when the calls come in it dries up.

Childrens' firearms programs in need of ammo

Any help for Montgomery County (Crawfordsville)? Hinda surprised more people are not helping in general from the INGO community. Any ideas on how to get word of this thread to the general community?

Poll: Help me choose my first 22lr plinker

No one mentioned Henry. Maybe check the gun shows for an older gun. I saw a Springfield bolt action for $175 in a GS the other day.

      Ammo Availability

I just left Walmart. They had 4-5 night stocking employees bringing out ammo by the cart load. Shortage is officially over  :lmfao:

Childrens' firearms programs in need of ammo

Email from Johnathon Shannon: I received your name from Dr. Carroll. I am in charge of shooting sports (pistol & rifle) in Montgomery County (Crawfordsville). We have applied and received many NRA Grants but did not apply the last year because we had a small number of advanced students...

Childrens' firearms programs in need of ammo

I talked to Dave Sikes: Assistant Scout Executive for Lasalle Council. He had recently received an update/email but couldn't find the details so I don't know the exact amount of their inventory. I am pretty sure he asked for 20-30K. that is for summer camp so a lot of kids.

Childrens' firearms programs in need of ammo

Just got off the phone with Lasalle Council BSA. Council covers the following counties: Porter, LaPorte, Starke, Marshall, St. Joseph, Berrien Co (MI), Cass Co. (MI), and Elkhart Counties. They need approximately 20,000 - 30,000 rounds for summer camps. This is in addition to their current...
