      Rifle Scope Reticle Comparison

      I'm looking to get a .223 bolt-action rifle for target shooting and maybe some varmint hunting. I've been looking at the different scopes out there and, being that I'm new to shooting, I'm a little foggy on the different types of reticles out there. Can you guys explain the main differences...

      CZ 75 vs. Sig P226

      Got it shoot it last week. Loved it! Felt great. Functioned great. Shot 50 rounds. Now I just need to learn to shoot accurately. Started out shooting from 10 yards - standing position. Not great but not too bad for a beginner. Got to start somewhere. I was a little concerned with not having the...

      Cheaper Than Dirt Haters?

      I can related to the "price gouging" opinions out there. I just bought a gun from CTD. Ordered on Thursday, got them my FFL info Thursday, my FFL got the gun the following Wednesday. Not bad considering the Christmas holiday was mixed in there. I shopped around extensively and they had the...

      Hunter's Choice - Vincennes, IN

      I just want to add that I had Mike at Hunter's Choice do an FFL transfer for a gun I bought online and it was flawless. Great guy to work with. Only charged $15. He got the gun and called me within hours upon receiving it. Recommended.

      CZ 75 vs. Sig P226

      I bought a CZ Well I made a choice and bought the CZ-75B. I just got it on Wednesday. I'm going to clean it today and hopefully go shoot it for the first time tomorrow. This is my first handgun. My first impression is...I love it. It feels perfect in my hand, looks great, and is flawless. I...

      CZ 75 vs. Sig P226

      Check the CZ-USA website for dealers. I know Gander Mountain sells them (prices are kind of high). Also, I know Whittaker Guns in Owensboro, KY has them in stock.

      Still can't get the SKS to eject........ ; - {

      Numrich gas valve results Finally got to shoot my SKS with the gas valve installed. Shot 58 rounds (partial box). Two FTEs (stovepipe). Overall the rifle worked much, much better. I might be able to attribute the two FTEs to the ammo. Both FTE's occurred with Wolf FMJ 122 Gr. Steel Case (38...

      .22 semi-auto or revolver?

      Sig Mosquito Thanks for all the input. I'm leaning towards a semi-auto .22. I know everyone is recommending the Rugers but I really like the looks of the Sig Sauer Mosquito. Seems they're picky about ammo and the price is a little higher than the Rugers but maybe I can pick up a used one...

      SKS Tech-Sights

      filing down... Just curious what you used to file down the rear pin??? Do the sights come with instructions? I'm pretty handy but no gunsmith.

      CZ 75 vs. Sig P226

      some other considerations... Now I'm starting to rethink the whole thing. I got to hold a Ruger SR9 the other day at the local shop and it felt great in my hand. I've heard good things about the SR9 as well. Might have to look into that...

      SKS Tech-Sights

      Just curious if anyone has tried the Tech-Sights on their SKS? Tech-SIGHTS Precision Shooting Accessories I'd be curious to hear some reviews. How easy to install, how much it improves accuracy, quality of construction, etc.

      Still can't get the SKS to eject........ ; - {

      another place to buy the gas valve Numrich also has gas valves for the SKS (blued): Gas Shut Off Valve, NI I got on Monday. Very easy to install. The fit is much better than the original. Interestingly, it was much harder to turn the gas shut off selector back to the 3 o'clock position with...

      CZ 75 vs. Sig P226

      I've done a lot of reading and I've narrowed it down to two: the CZ 75 9mm and the Sig P226 9mm. I want to get the .22 LR adapter for each. Which would you all recommend? I've shopped around and I can get them for about the same price with the .22 adapter (Sig a little more $). I'm curious...
