What gun related item(s) did you receive for Christmas?

Gift Card to American Shooters (Range) in Clarksville, IN. Nice range and nice people there. If you are in So IN, check them out.

      Interesting Indiana revolver

What a great piece of history. Thank you for sharing. I have an Remington Wingmaster 20ga that my father bought for me as a youngster. He bought it at Western Auto in So IN. I remember going in that store. They had everything from car parts to lawn mowers to guns. Good times

Homes defense guns other than AR, AK & Shotgun?

I agree with the post above that in most home invasions, one or two shots is likely all that is needed. Personally, I keep a .357 revolver at the bedside. Ruger GP100 or Smith 686. Great guns and easy to operate for a novice. Just my opinion.

      Best Mag for AK-47

IMO, the Circle 10s are very good. Expensive, but good. I also like the US Palm polymer mags. They may be as good and half the price. I have some Bulgarian steel mags for my Zastava pistol that work well, from Palmetto State Armory. Try aimsurplus.com for AK supplies, or cdnn.com for magazines.

Black Aces Tactical 12 ga 00 Buck

Anyone have any experience with these rounds?

What should I buy right now?

I have read one of Sleepy Joe’s targets is banning the import of guns AND ammo from overseas. If you believe that is a real possibility then a Zastava AK and/or Russian 7.62x39 would seem to be a good call.

      a recommendation please

If you're really interested in 22, I'll throw out the Beretta 21a Bobcat. One bonus here is that you don't have to be strong enough to rack the slide. With the tip up barrel, you can drop a round in the barrel, then it's just engaging the hammer and pulling the trigger. Not too sure about 22...

Grandpa wants a new revolver .38/357..Best option?

I have both. I like the 642 better. Replaced the Trigger spring with a Wilson Combat S&W J frame Custom Tune Spring Kit. $8.95. Easy to replace the spring. Much improved trigger. Full disclosure: I'm a S&W revolver junkie.

I have had this for a few years and rarely shot it. 100-150 rds max. I am the original owner. Comes with original box and papers and 3 magazines. Located in So IN - Clark County. Asking $500. Will travel up to an hour, and just need to see IN Driver’s License and LTCH. Nothing recorded.

      .22 Revolvers

My dad taught me how to shoot with a Ruger Single Six back in the early 1970's . I still have it. Still shoot it. Still as good of a gun as ever. I'll never get rid of it.

      .22 Revolvers

Ruger Single Six. First gun I ever shot. My dad bought it for me to learn to shoot in the early 1970’s. He’s long gone, but I still have it. Still shoot it. Still love it.

Handgun for the truck or car

Like post #42, my truck pistol is a Taurus Millenium G2. Taurus had a bad reputation years ago, or so that’s what I always heard. This gun I’ve shot a lot, never a failure. Inexpensive. I’m a revolver guy too, so can’t argue with a 38/357. Great reliable choice there.

Longtime liberal friend wants to buy a gun now.

Since this whole insanity started, I have had a number of friends, most of whom had never considered owning a gun, ask me for advice on what to buy.
