All of you beta testers early adopters must've got the kinks worked out. Didn't try until yesterday. I had no issues logging in and password accepted on the first try.
I like the analytics in my profile. When it says "more detailed reports coming soon" does that mean there are plans to...
I am not sorry I got it. It is only a tool for one narrow piece of your practice, and is probably most valuable for really data-driven people. Think of it as a Fitbit for your gun.
I was torn between a true dryfire system like LASR, and the Mantis. I think I made the right choice based on...
Works fine with Android. In fact, an update a few days ago (for Android. I don't have an iOS device to confirm both) added several new modes including reloads and a speed-based trigger exercise.
As for no rail, Mantis also sells magazine floorplate adapters for a dozen or so models that add a...
I've been using one since April and it's great for working the fundamentals. It gets confused on rapid follow up shots, though, so I think Jerry is safe for now.
Very hot indeed. For anyone on squad 3 wondering about Amy's texas star, it was on the 36th rotation and still going when she showed clear and holstered.
AuntieBellum and I will be there for the weekend this year. We'll be working the Youth Day events with Revere's Riders, and actually plan on seeing the rest of the show. First time since Indy I'll get to just wander! :patriot:
Good stuff in here already. Ayoob's and Grossman's works are good ones. I'd add "The Law of Self Defense" by Andrew Branca, on how not to be an idiot in a defensive shooting.
If the feed ramp style is interchangeable and superior I'm willing to give it a go. Is there some sort of fitting process to get that style of mag to insert properly without having to press the mag release?
Ok. Do you know if the rounds seat differently with those? My biggest confusion is that in the factory mags, there is a rail along the back of the magazine that indexes the rounds to the front of the magazine.
OEM mag is on the left...
Can someone point me to the correct model number for the OEM mags for my Springer RO Operator in 9mm? I'm happy with the stock Metalform mags and I'd like to keep using them.
I tried ordering the mags listed as "Springfield style" from Brownells. They matched the specs on the factory mags...
Not exactly the mini ones, though I don't have any of the big toys either. I've had a Blade CX2 for years and it will fly inside if you're careful. I just recently purchased a Blade 300x and I'm getting pretty good at flying repairing it. The 300 is way too big for indoor, as it will just...
I'd estimate my polling place serves 600-800 registered voters. According to the hash marks on the check in table a bit over 100 people had voted by 8am. It took about 25 minutes to get through the line, and approximately 50 more folks came to vote while I waited. No trouble with the machines...
I never meant to say that Guard units didn't have firearms for a reason or should be considered the Red Cross in camo. I took the article though to mean the borough president wanted Guardsmen to act like police, walking a beat and fighting looters. I don't think soldiers should be policing...
