Never heard of a Eotech Micro, an Aimpoint Micro now that I have heard of.
But the Aimpoint Micro looks nothing like an Eotech, But the Trijicon RMR , Burris Fastfire II and the Leupold Delta Point are all shaped like miniature Eotechs but are more of a reflex red dot optic.

Most 10mm barrels are ramped, so you will need to figure out which on you want to use and then mill the frame to fit that ramp design.
There are non ramped 10mm barrels out there (i.e. Colt ) but they are not a fully supported chamber like the ramped styles are.
I am gonna put this in here even after you said you are partial to Colts, and I know that Kimbers are either a love them or hate them thing for most people.
But with that being said, I was just going to add that Kimber's Eclipse Ultra is a 3" 1911 with a short stainless steel frame and 3"...

The Crimson Carry does not come without the CT grips, that is where they get the name for that model.
That being said, the Crimson Carry other than the Alloy frame, two-tone finish and CT grips is nothing special........ no night sights, checkered front strap or mag well.
At the sale price it...
Stainless will rust less, as the name says.....but they are not rust PROOF.
With a little care it will look new for years.
Stainless usually doesn't show holster wear either.
The Eclipse has Kimpro black finish on it over the stainless, except on the flats of the slide and frame.
Here is what...
Well the $200 off put it where the price should be......the $1393 is about $40 over MSRP, which is too high.
The Eclipse Target you are looking at has adjustable sights, but they are still night sights (Dot in front, Bar on rear). They are nice sights for range work, but not a type I would want...
