My younger son told me about that Saturday. It is pretty messed up.

She was wrong though. They didn't blow up the train cars. They used small charges to open them to drain the chemical into a trough so they could burn it rather than letting it explode in the cars.

I'm curious as to who the owner of the material is. Some corporation purchased this chemical either domestically or it is imported.
Depending upon incoterms, there may be some liability against that entity.

The reporter being arrested isnt as bad as it sounds. Its not some sinister thing to hide the truth.

He was making too much noise during the presser while doing his live shot at the other end of the auditorium. And since he didnt just immediately stop speaking while on live TV, they arrested him for daring to tell the anchor he had to stop the report. And he was scheduled to do this live shot ahead of time. Dewine started his press conference 2 hours late, so the presser should have been over by the time the reporter was scheduled to do his thing.

Disclaimer: These events can be emotional, especially if it’s happening to you. It wouldn’t be the first time too that we’ve seen people spin events to fit a narrative. By posting what I did I was not standing up for everything everybody might say only starting the discussion on the event.

I agree. No worries. I just wanted to do some legwork to get the whole story.

I'd bet MTG doesnt know the whole story either. Lots of assumptions are made during things like this. Especially with other incidents where .gov doesnt seem to want to be honest with us.

I'm actually surprised it wasnt as bad as advertised. In this case it just sounds like an overzealous cop flexing his "you will obey without delay." attitude. Since he didnt shut up immediately, cop felt disrespected and showed no common sense by arresting him for daring to finish his work as quickly as possible.

Then that sad excuse for law enforcement should lose his job and pension. When cops step on the bill of rights the response should be sufficient to discourage others from doing the same.

Hmmm, the states and epa slap fines heavily for burning things such as wire, shingles and plastic..but it's ok to burn direct hazardous chemicals. Why wasn't these chemicals just pumped into proper containers..
Did you miss the part where it was going to explode?

They thought it would explode. No proof that that outcome was inevitable. Must be the same authorities that said covid would wipe out a major portion of our population.
