What are some good outdoor ranges in NWI? pistol/carbine/ar friendly, not just shotgun skeet shooting.

I did some searching, and really haven't found much that didn't appear Shotgun only
Let me know if you want to visit Michigan City Rifle Club as my guest. They have both indoor & outdoor range.

Willow Slough is about half hour south of my house in Cedar Lake, down US 41. Others will be along to point you to other, maybe closer, options.

    .
I've been to Willow Slough on my bike, but never realized there was anything other than fishing there.
My favorite is Winamac. Hour drive but worth it, at least to me

A tad further than I'd like to go haha

IF I owned a golf cart (which won't happen) It would have a Harley motor and trans in it, and I'd get busted immediately, but It'd take me where I needed haha

    Willow Slough FWA
    Pistol - 10, 15 and 25 yard
    Rifle - 50 and 100 yard
    Shotgun
Rifle and pistol benches under roof, concrete, $7/hr or $10/hr shared bench, RO controlled
    Target stands provided

    Jasper Pulaski FWA
    Pistol - 10, 15 yard
    Rifle - 50, 100, 193 yards
    Shotgun
Outdoor with no cover, gravel, free of charge, RO presence.
Target stands provided but bring your own cardboard backer.

    Kingsbury FWA
    Very similar to Willow Slough
    $5/day, RO controlled

    Winamac FWA
    Pistol - 25 yard
    Rifle - 50, 100, 200 yard
    Shotgun - not sure
Benches under roof, concrete, free of charge, RO presence. IMO best overall DNR range in NWI but a bit of a hike for me.

DNR ranges allow paper targets only. No steel or reactive targets.
