Construction jobs are not easy. You are either working a million hours a week or laid off. Hubby worked one winter in the 30 years he ran heavy equipment. Every other year, he was laid off the majority of the winter. It taught him to be a good saver so that is appreciated, but there were times it really sucked.

I had a muffin and two cookies. I forgot to pack a lunch last night and if I go do it now, it will wake up the hubby. I guess I'll have to get a sandwich from the coffee shop.
