Wow! I didn't do as bad as I thought I would after that first really slow stage. Without a few mistakes that would have been one of my most accurate matches yet as far as points down. I can't wait for next week. And Jay, man... Shoot all the targets!!!

I did have a few takeaways from today's match. Power Pistol is good! Ghost springs and connector is good although going to take a lot more trigger time to get used to the new pull. I did find out how important your big toe is when looking to move quickly also!

Ready to load up some 9mm and maybe start working up a .45 load again too! Jay got his problem figured out and Jim..well Jim is Jim

You'll have to ask Kim N. Watching him it is any 1911 chambered in any caliber that starts with a 9 or a 4 that has problems! xD

Am thinking to copy the standards stage from the Kolonel for the lake bay Saturday (6 rounds freestyle - 6 strong hand - 6 weak hand - 2 reloads in between). Maybe put mags in a bag on a table just to make it harder.

Weird stuff with mags & or guns in bags and boxes gave me problems last year.

I have 1911's in 9, .357. 40, 10MM, and 30carbine + assorted 45's Bad things never happen with them except dead targets.

Was that a vague story of how it happened or what? Which foot were you limping on? Was it the left? Does that make you Canadian?

They are updating the gate entry to fancy new Plastic access cards. The new fancy cards will be mailed when it goes operational. Until then, keep using the current access code.
