Seems Starbucks is taking flak again for their stance to allow carry in their stores agan.....

Here is a quote from a letter they received apparently...
    From Sandy Hook parents....

"[T]o prevent another Sandy Hook, we as a society must prioritize the sanctity of human life over the individual’s 'right to carry,'" the letter reads.

If we truly valued the sanctity of human life, we would not be having this discussion. This quote, [FONT=arial, tahoma, sans-serif]"To prevent another Sandy Hook, we as a society must prioritize the sanctity of human life over the individual’s 'right to carry'", makes me want to puke. This is the epitome of hypocrisy, coming from a political party whose primary agenda since 2008 has been making the murder of our children easier and easier, and trying to force those of us who do not believe in it to pay for those who have no problem with it, in the name of health care. They have no clue when it comes to the sanctity of human life, rather they are the experts on exterminating human life in numbers that even Hitler could only dream about! It is their advocacy for more and more abortion on demand that got them elected in the first place. It is the same agenda that blinds them to anything else including our national security. The gun control issue is just a convenient smoke screen that hides their inaction on every important issue affecting our nation.

Let the democrats first stop the killing of children with one horrific piece of legislation after another, before they say one word about the gun in my holster, which has never been used to kill anyone. Address the former, and the latter will disappear on its own.

Boy, the lefties are taking this Starbucks thing personally. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm inclined to think Starbucks will eventually succumb.

We should write to Starbucks and tell them we approve of the current policy and let them see how many people we really are so they DON'T change the policy.
Money Talks and we are the folks paying their bills. So tell them we like to carry while we sip.

There are democrats who don't believe in abortion, non-traditional marriage and don't believe that Obama is the second coming of Christ. I've got democrat customers who compete, take training classes and own more than a handful of firearms.

I think we make startlingly inappropriate generalizations when we label these emotionally vacant p*ssies in Connecticut as democrats.

Starbuck's needs to tell them to go pound sand. They are observing the laws passed by legislators, but the legislators want them to take a stance that is beyond what the laws say? What a joke.

I merely used the headline of the article. Nothing more.

I think the title is referring to the politicians mentioned at the beginning of the article.

So, we should "prioritize the sanctity of human life" by removing your ability to protect it? Riiiiight.

Sorry, "Sandy Hook Parents," I can't follow your illogic without risking the destruction of my brain.

Funny how all these liberal groups run around claiming "to protect children's lives" yet, are also the same ones (not all) who have no problem killing un-born children. That to me, is the largest form of hypocrisy......just saying

The article does a good job of making it sound like there's no guns in Disney, but from reading this board it sounds like there's at least one INGO gun inside the parks every month or so. Sorry but when I got to that point I just had to chuckle, and it's not just INGO'ers, you can find the same kinds of threads on almost any other carry forum I've seen.

Store policies don't stop guns, just money from gun owners.

If I were the owner of Starbucks I would take great offense to someone trying to tell me that I can't conduct my business in any legal manner that I see fit and tell them to go pound sand. The owners of Starbucks have done well so far, I hope that they have the stones to continue.

Tell the complainers that if they want a gun free coffee shop to start their own.

Typical liberal double talk! If they really cared about human life, which they DON'T, they would also say:

"[T]o prevent another Kermit Gosnell 'house of horrors', we as a society must prioritize the sanctity of human life over the individual’s 'right to an abortion'"

NOT going to happen as that "right" which is mentioned NOWHERE in the Constitution, is beyond challenge!

    Or perhaps:

"[T]o prevent another Boston Marathon tragedy, we as a society must prioritize the sanctity of human life over the individual’s 'right to assemble'"

    or even:

"[T]o prevent another 9/11, we as a society must prioritize the sanctity of human life over the individual’s 'right to be secure in their persons and papers'"

Nothing is safe, nothing is sacred to these people who KNOW BETTER than you do what is best for YOU!

We already know it's not the coffee or frap their wanting. If it were, these citizens would go elsewhere to get it and leave Starbucks alone. Their natural desire for power and control exceeds the desire for a frap or cup of coffee in the morning, or afternoon.
Makes you curious, if pro carry businesses opened up a new chain of stores specifically dedicated to the non personal self defense carry folks, would they go in and have their coffee?
