Dude, mine is loud lol. people always complain. The comp on it forces all the sound out at the shooter. And supposedly makes it quieter downrange.
I think I can make it through the first day with my 10-22. I have to count my ammo. 2nd day is going to be an ar. which is still cool, I have not earned rifleman with it yet.
both are scoped, as it's taking me way to long to switch focus using irons anymore.
I bought my most recent scope from Alan, which is why I wanted to get in on this seed if I could. I'm a newb scope shooter.

Right on. I am getting a bit creaky in the joints to handle the 2 hour drive back and forth. I gave up on the idea of setting up/tearing down a campsite sat night and sun morn, so I got a hotel in richmond saturday night. I'm there for the duration.

I was willing to try to camping thing, but you had to stay three nights. Couldn't be away from the farm that long, plus you could never tell about the weather. By the time we figured this out, most the Richmond hotels were booked, so we are staying in a little motel in Liberty. I"m sensing it's going to be an adventure.

Liberty is definitively a world un-tom itself or at least t was when I lived out that way.

Liberty isn't all that bad. Typically small town Indiana, for the most part. Make sure to eat at the Pizza King there, it's a much cleaner alternative to THE Pizza King in Connersville. Also, the Mexican restaurant, its name escapes me, is very good in Liberty.

From what I've read and seen on the internet, it seems like a nice little town. And since it's on the internet it has to be true, right?

    Well...yeah, of course.

I see my spell check is not my friend.

Nothing wrong with that little town but back in the day there were a few bars that did the boot-scoot-boogie before it was popular. Not talking about the line dance either. I understand it has settled down.

Not sure, I will go through it tonight. But I think I have at least 300 rounds for the first day. Likely not enough for the 2nd, which is when I will switch to 223.

My googlefu is not as sharp as yours. I found no hotels in liberty. Ashamedly enough, I thought the hotels being booked was bizarre. I did not realize until afterwards, that it was a 3 day weekend.

If Sam isn't interested in the brass I am. Just getting into .223 and we hand load most all of our calibers except the .22LR of course.

It's not much, maybe 500 shells or so. I will bring what I have. you two can duke it out. :)

    :faint:

Huge day, grilled chicken for our family, and some for the widow lady down the road. Then had family over to the range. Now gonna go sit with the wife outside, and let it stop spinning.
