My first handgun was a G27 that I received as a gift for my 21st birthday. I CC mine everyday. I'm with the others when they say that you may want to look into the grip extensions. I have them on all of my mags. Congrats on the good find.

I used the 33 rd extended Glock mag in my G-26 once, fun but not very practical, but I do have a G-26 locked in my car and with a couple spare mags and that one 33 rdr stuck behind the lock box, I guess you never can be too safe. Congrats you'll love the Baby Glock .

I absolutely love my G26! You picked a great handgun. You might want to look at GAP floorplates which significantly improves grip. I ordered a pair and it makes a big difference. You can find them here:

The don't lengthen the grip, which is advantageous for carrying concealed, but they add an additional finger groove.

I have a 26 and it never leaves my side. You should be very happy with it. I had a 27 (same thing in a .40) but was forced to sell it a couple years ago. I never did find another pistol that was as easy to carry inside my waistline and decided to go back to the baby glock. Chose to go with the 9mm this time based only on the fact that I have a few other 9's and a couple rounds of ammo. Mine has never seemed to be picky on ammo and is pretty accurate considering the short barrel length.
