    It's funny how smell triggers memories. Diesel always reminds me of the PI.


    The Staleys smell always reminds me of Japan.

    That's one of the reasons I'll never live in Lafayette. I get to smell it almost every day at work. I'd rather live next to a hog farm than Staleys.

    Lafayette smells bad? Bah. Try breathing in Steubenville, OH. The fog here is literally death. Supposedly the air here is so bad that breathing it for a year is akin to smoking a pack of cigarettes a year.

    I like the smell of Staleys, but it seems like parts of town have odors that I don't even want to know what they are.

    I've gone by a paper factory in Idaho, and I think it smells worse than a rotten carcass.
