After reading KEHO's thread about his exciting encounter with poison ivy, I thought a thread about identifying dangerous plants would be useful. We've had some other threads posted regarding identification of other plants (morels, mustard, etc.). If I can track them down, I'll put them all into a stickied post for easy reference.

Most of the plant identification guides (especially for poison ivy) that I've seen all contain drawings only, and those aren't always useful for actually identifying plants. I'd like you to post up actual photographs of poisonous plants found natively in Indiana and perhaps a short write-up of how to tell it apart from a similar-in-appearance non-poisonous plant. Let's see your poison ivies, your mushrooms, etc.
