Michiana Meet and Eat feeler. NOV. 18th @POLITOS

So who's in, where and when?

I've contacted the owner of Golden Corral in Mishawaka. She said we could do it there.. I asked about carrying and she is fine with it but would rather not have any OCing, due to other patrons throwing fits.

So what you say? Have another location that would work better?

I have Sunday, Monday and Tuesday off.

    Discuss.

We have decided to have it Tuesday, November 18 @Politos on Logan and McKinley (next to Long John Silvers) @ 7:00pm. Please let us know if you will be there or not.

Address in case you need it.

401 N Hickory Rd, South Bend, IN 46615

I'd be up for a meet somewhere. Most any weekend would work for me. Golden Corral wouldn't be my first choice but is workable.

Let's not turn this in to a cc oc debate. We have an offer of a location. I personally don't feel like freaking any anti gun people out. I get no thrill from it. I just want to meet the local guys. Not have a show of guns. I'll leave this up to the op.

It is sometimes pretty full looking. Are they going to reserve a group of tables or something?

Yes. We could have a seperate area reserved. If we have enough people, I think we could get a room to ourselves.

I'm also open to any other location for a meet up.

Just a thought but I just got off the phone talking with and INGO member that is on the board at Elkhart Rifle and Pistol club. They are a 24/7 gun range near Callahans on Cassapolis (19). If Calahans is gun friendly and we can get permission to shoot it would be a win/win.

It's a bit far for me but I could probably make it. Mondays would work for me, I work late Tuesdays but could come straight from work, Sundays are pretty much out for me. I'm not too picky on where we meet/eat. :)

If you have a meet and eat it should be an OC "Friendly" event IMO.
I rarely OC but I agree.
And I feel like it should support local business too. Just my :twocents:
    Ditto.
I know the owner's personally for 30 years. They are local, both born and raised here. They are newer gun owners. But are business folk first.
But the food quality at GC sucks.

And FWIW i am a business person too, have a pro-carry sign on the wall in my shop, it has been met with entheusiam.

I will work around any day. But if this is going to turn in to a OC to make a statement event? I'll pass. I don't need, or want the attention.
