Springfield 1911.
While organizing all the parts and pieces I have come to have from a zillion or so projects. I realized I could build a few guns from it. Had some time so here is the 1st one.
-The slide/barrel are from a Range officer. These are factory mated from the same gun. There is some holster wear on the slide.
-Barrel bushing is a Nowling hand fit piece.
-2 piece EGW guide rod.
-Front sight is a fiber optic piece.
-The frame is from a MilSpec. It is Ceracoated Titanium Black.
-Grips are from a pistol I had and no idea who made these.
-Wilson grip safety in Stainless.
-Thumb safety, hammer, sear, disconnector are from the last TRP I built up.
-Slide stop and main spring housing are from the parts stash,
-Trigger is skeleton piece from spares.
-The ignition controls have been polished nicely and right now offer a clean release at 3.5 lbs. This is where I set most of my triggers. If this is to light I will put some weight in it for you.
All of these parts have been fit up to this gun and work very well.
Frame to slide is nice.
This is no FrankenGun folks. I have ran it 2 times. I like it.
No box. Comes with 1 Mag.
I would like to see $600 for this piece OBO but it is pretty nicely fit up gun and could be an EDC for me. If I do not sell it no worries.
Speedway area.
Will roll out 50 miles for the right deal.
