Kimber Classic Model Custom .45 ACP SOLD
with Clackamas roll mark
For those not familiar with the significance of the Clackamas roll mark, these were among the first 1911's ever produced by Kimber, when they were a smaller shop trying to carve a niche in the market. They are considered among the best Kimber ever produced.
These are pre model II, so no firing pin safety.
01/1997 manufacturing date, serial number is K0059XX.
Not the original owner, so I don't know the round count, but it is low. I have only put 200 rounds through it myself. It is clean and tight. There is a small ding on the right side of the slide, and a spot where the finish has some wear. Looks like it might be from laying on its side in the case? I tried to show it in pictures below.
Other than that, the finish is in great shape. It is better in person than in the pictures. Clean, crisp black.
Comes with original case with one Kimber 8 round magazine. Sights are black on black.
