    Local news is reporting that gun license processing will shut down. Heard that lie last night. Channel 13 or 59, can't remember. :rolleyes:

    Yeah, heard that on Fox this AM. If the NCIS check is still operating, unless some other federal organization is down that gives information to the ISP (can't see that happening as I think it is an FBI database and the FBI is NOT shut down), there should be no interruption of the LTCH process.

    Edited to update information 10/2: This AM, the Indianapolis Fox News stated the Gun license process would not be affected - therefore gun sales / LTCH will continue as if no shutdown. I would bet Obama was told that if the NCIS check was not completed - FFL's could sell guns without the check after the (3-4 day as I recall) waiting period so the Liberals considered it a essential service!
