Yellow Labs

Wondering if anyone has any recommendations or know anyone who raises yellow labs in West Central Indiana. Although I’m not opposed to a little bit of a drive either.

Our JRT passed away in November and I’ve started looking online but not having much luck finding a female pup at a reasonable price.

Will this be a working dog or more of a house mate? Any specifics you’re looking for on temperament, drive, etc? I have had labs bred for upland hunting (big motors) but also able to train to high levels to run hunt tests. I can point you toward some of those breeders if that’s what you’re looking for.

Check him out, yes he is just inside Illinois but has been doing dogs for a long time. Disclaimer: I am not into Lab's so have never had any of his dogs. He is a great guy that has been a friend since high school and I gave the class when he and his wife got their Illinois CCW.

They might be great dogs, but I'm always a little skeptical of "lab" breeders who produce dogs like this...
