Nice! Biggest crappie I ever caught was at Lake Monroe. I had thrown out about a 2" bluegill from shore while I was camping in Allen's Creek, hoping to catch a catfish. Saw the bobber go under and knew I had an okay "cat" on, but when I got it reeled in, it was about a 16" crappie. I didn't weigh him, but I ate him. :)

Another time at Dale Hollow, I hooked what I thought was surely a decent bass and it turned out to be a bluegill that weighed in at 3 lbs., 13 oz. When I got back to the dock there were a couple of guys from Wisconsin that saw me pick it up on the stringer and said, "Nice crappie!" When they realized it was a bluegill, they talked me into going in the bait shop to get it weighed. It was a good pound lighter than the state record, but it was still the biggest bluegill I'd ever seen, let alone caught.
