I am organizing a Woman's Only Shooting Weekend Aug 14-15, 2021 in Shelbyville. So far I have Tatiana Whitlock giving a lecture from 5:30-7:30, Kids & Guns Can Co-Exist, on Sat Aug 14. On Sunday the 15th she will be teaching her Carry with Confidence course.

I am attempting to make Saturday an information day, I am looking at a pepper spray class, Stop the Bleed Class, and possibly a short self-defense class or information lecture.

When we teach ladies classes we have a list we cover. You have a good start. Just off the top of my head. some of the things we discuss: carry methods, clothing options, laws, marksmanship, firearms options and letting them try several, first aid and wound treatment, awareness, driving situations, storage, ammo selection, purchasing needs and where (so important now days), edges tools, and likely more that I have not mentioned. Need to consider time, cost, facilities, weather. We are fortunate to have our own fatalities and range.

We have added a Stop the Bleed Class in the afternoon, prior to the lecure.
