Was wondering if this would be a good book/guide for survival/field medical needs.

What do our INGO medical experts think about this book? Is there a better book to get ahold for survival/field medical needs?

Judging by the inside-cover-blurb and the price, it's probably worth reading. The only issue I have, is that it's an E-book and you might not be able to refer to it in the boonies

I plan on buying paperback copy. It will definitely be put in a plastic bag and carried on person when the need arises.

    Found this in paperback

I am a recently retired physician, but still licensed and board certified in emergency medicine. Eric Weiss is well known in the emergency medicine community and that book would be considered a valuable reference, with all the usual caveats.

The Survival Medicine Handbook by Joseph Alton is also a very good book, a guide for when help is not on the way

Interesting. One review I saw said "He spent more time rambling on about why you should be prepared than actually teaching you what to do. One star." (paraphrased)
