I know this is a little off topic, but my wife is waiting for her carry license to finalize and I was thinking about getting her in a training class. What kind of class did you do, and what kind of carry gear did you decide on?

I haven't done any classes as I grew up shooting with my dad and have been very comfortable with handguns for a long time. Maybe check with your sheriff's department to see if they offer classes. I know ours does where I live.

I thought my wife. Took her through the seven fundamentals of marksmanship, drawing, dry firing, reloads, immediate and remedial actions, all the way up to el prez drills. For her belly band seems to work the best. She is not a purse person and I would hate for it to be sitting in the front seat of the car while she is in trouble outside the car. I just bought a Glock 43 and pocket holster, but it didn't fit her pants pockets. :(

Ladies pants fit nothing. I've got the same problem with knives. My teenagers tease me when they find one of my folders on the counter. LOL, my 16yr old just laughed and asked if it was real. :ugh:

There are some decent IWB options that might be more favorable than a pocket ("We the People Holsters" and "CrossBreed Holsters" are both having good online sales these days). There's also some good belly bands out there that may be a better fit if it's a small pistol. Best of luck on hunting down her preferred comfortable carry solution.
