    Wondered about that too, but haven't explored it too much since I obviously am not dealing with antibodies at the local pharmacy
    My guess is they wanted to show great benefit for EUA application, so they excluded the very sick. Can't have the already very ill messing up your data by dying

    Would love to see data on mortality differences for people who receive it in the hospital or on oxygen. I believe it would be significant

    Last year, early in the outbreak, a guy came here to work from Hubei province(where wuhan is). China was reporting only a few hundred deaths in the province of well over 50 million people at that point. He said something like "I guess that means all the deaths in the province were within a quarter mile of my place."
    It didn't seem to surprise him at all that the reporting was that bad.

    Note - This was over a year ago and I don't remember the exact numbers or the exact quote. Just trying to convey the gist of it.
