Where to buy an upper for an AR?

Where is the best place to buy an AR upper only locally in Indiana? I am looking to buy an upper and would like to walk out with it rather than waiting for an unknown number of weeks for it to come in from a manufacturer. I have not noticed anywhere that sells only the uppers, so any help is greatly appreciated.

The 1500 funshow has many of the upper manufacturers, but is that too far into the future for you since the show is in about 3 or 4 weeks?

No, I am waiting 6 to 8 months for a lower. I just want to make sure that once I get my lower, I don't have to wait any longer to shoot it. The wait is painful!
