Nice one, chamfer the cylinder holes, put a nice satin bead blast on it and some VZ's!
    uh, something like that... lol

i spent the day refinishing these mismatched target stocks and deep cleaning & polishing the gun. all hand polished. i like old school and shiny. efforts today consumed a lot of sandpaper and modelo - it was a good day.

I really like the looks of the GP100.
    It looked rugged.

A wise man mentioned to me once, "Revolvers will take a lot of neglect, but they don't tolerate a lot of abuse."

Got a good deal on it long ago. Bought it as a gift for an older gentleman who volunteered for "security at church". Sadly, it's back to me much too soon.

Here is my old but good Taurus Model 44. Got it in the early 90's I've shot thousands of full power 44mag rounds through it. The only firearm that made the cut repeatedly.

I should probably polish it up it's got scratches all over it from years of hunting from Colorado to Indiana and several states between.

2022 has been the year of the revolvers for me. Particularly S&W revolvers.

I’ve acquired these since January, a Model 24-3, a Second Model Hand Ejector in 44 Special, a M&P Model of 1902 in 38 Special, a 3rd Generation Colt SAA in 44 Special, a Model 10-5 and a Brazilian contract M1917.

The three N Frame guns were bought at various auctions and I managed to snag each of them for significantly less than what they usually sell for. That being said, I’m pretty sure I’ve hit the limit of my purchasing for the year. Unfortunately I’m getting to the point where my collection is getting to where nearly everything is a keeper and my trading stock is dwindling. Retiring early is starting to crimp my collecting.

I would be interested to see how many other snubby owners there are here. Here is my S&W 642. I have speed strips instead of Speed loaders now.

This is my carry gun a model 65 S&W with a 2in model 64 barrel . It was done by Ray Saltzman. Shoots even better than it did with the 3in barrel and fits in my back pocket

Yesterday, 6Dec22, I did some trading. I had a 3" S&W Mod. 60-15 & neighbor had a 2½" S&W Mod. 19-2. We traded even up. He just hated the Mod. 19 & it's got a little surface rust & the stocks are chipped next to the frame behind the trigger guard. I didn't particularly care for the Hillary Hole on the Mod. 60. I didn't "need" the Mod. 19 as I have its stainless steel clone in a 2½" Mod. 66. The Mod. 19 is pinned, recessed & has the trigger stop. The Mod. 19 & Mod. 66 are not for sale at this time. 1670437830222.png 1670437774415.png
