    Awful display. I am sure he didn’t check to see if it was unloaded before pointing it with his finger on the trigger.
    I posted this previously in the trial thread, but worth repeating here ...

    "I'm not going to defend the actions of that idiotic prosecutor. Pointing the gun around the court room was just plain dumb. But I did watch it live and the rifle was safety checked before he used it to play his little game of charades."

    I would also like to see a wider angle of the courtroom. Watching the trial it was pretty clear he was angled to the back corner of the room and not pointing it at the jury box. Whether the muzzle was pointed to the ceiling or not is something I'd like to know. Sweeping people in the gallery isn't much better than sweeping the jury.

    Everything about this was idiotic and completely unnecessary, but I think it was probably at least a little more safe than what the close up photos show.
