    At the Ranch.
Me: 450 Bushmaster w/ 3-9x50 Nikon. The Nikon 50mm is nice in low light of sun rise. Checked sight-in at 50 and 100yds.
    Hand warmers, toe warmers,
    Hand warming muff, foam seat,
    Bottle water, snack bar
    Pocket knife,
    Grunt calls,
Spare 450 mag incase one gets dropped,
    Headlight, backup mini flashlight.

Son just got home from college: We only had 4 rounds of 110 gr Barnes Tac-TX loaded so I had to dust off the Hornady AP for a fresh roll-your-own box of 110gr Barnes Tac-TX over 19.5g Shooters World Blackout this evening. Talk about dusting things off... I haven't loaded for 300BO since 2019. SB primers were $19.99 a brick back in the good ol days. :oldwise: :(

So, he is using a 10.5" 300BO with Burris RT-6 1-6. This is a deer slayer for us. It has been quite successful since 2015.
    Checked sight-in at 50 and 100yds.

    Good luck everyone!

a few 2-3/4 Remington green&yellow box slugs, 1941 model 11 sportsman 12ga. I'll be still hunting my 13acres throughout the day so don't need much in the pockets. probably wearing my 40s Woolrich Pennsylvania tuxedo and LL Bean Maine Hunting boots, or just a flannel and Muck boots. weather looks interesting.

i won't have to go far, this was looking out my backdoor this evening...

After using the .375 Marlin for the last 4 years I left it in the safe and got the 1.6; .358 Grant out. It did it's job as usual.
    Have a great day.

Tikka T3x in .308 with Trijicon Acupoint Scope, Leupold mounts and Boyds stock
Probably a dozen knives (I'm a bit of geek in that department) including several I made/designed plus a few Kershaw's and others.
My newest addition, The Butt Out. If you haven't tried it for field dressing you should
    Mossy Oak back pack.
Two Streamlights and an off brand forehead light
    Leupold rangefinder
A drag strap, zip ties, latex long sleeve gloves, trash bags, pen and paper
    Hand warmers (on colder days)
    Fall safety harness
Cap with a brim for those days I'm facing the sunrise/sunset
I'm usually wearing my Redhead (Cabela's brand) hunting parka. I only mention it because the quality and design are fantastic. Highly recommend.

Substitute a Barnett Predator crossbow and 3 carbon fiber bolts with Rage 3-point heads for the Tikka during archery season.
