It is just like what I dealt with taking care of my grandma through dementia. On one hand her cognitive abilities were constantly diminishing, but on the other who she was was laid bare. Fortunately, there was nothing nefarious about grandma. In Joe's case, the pretense of giving a damn about the Constitution or the oath has been removed.

It’s okay if we’re called a democracy. But when it’s juxtaposed near a statement like “we the people” is the government, it seems a lot more like he’s conflated the Democrat wet dream with reality.Notice how he keeps saying we are a democracy, instead of a constitutional republic.
