"The Greatest Beer Run Ever" on Apple+. Based on a true story of a guy deciding to bring a beer from the neighborhood bar to his buddies fighting in Viet Nam. Starts off as a light-hearted caper movie, that turns dark and predictably anti-war. I give it ⭐⭐⭐️/ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐️ .

I just watched Rob Zombies remake of The Munsters, and it was actually pretty decent. It’s really more visual than anything I guess, and Elvira is in it, but she’s kinda hard to spot. All in all, it was entertaining, probably something I’d watch again.

Checked out the Hellraiser reboot/sequel, I believe it went out on Hulu.

I thought it was surprisingly decent. Kinda tame for the franchise, but reasonably well executed with some cool practical designs.

Unfortunately, you have to watch the subtitles.
But, it's a change of pace.
    Comedy.

It's from the 40s, so the film quality is not great.
Underwater scenes are kinda dark and difficult to see.

And it's nice to see a part of the Navy shown, that is usually 'background'.

For some standup comedy flashback watched this Netflix special. Makes me want more of these giants of comedy than just a few clips.

The Hall: Honoring the Greats of Stand-Up is a 2022 stand-up comedy film honoring four standup comedy legends, George Carlin, Robin Williams, Joan Rivers, and Richard Pryor.

And of course Carlin would have been the bane of INGO moderators and mentor to @BigRed

Finished Lord of the Rings and I really liked it. I am not into the books and canon so to me it was just a series. It started off a bit slow but I felt it was well worth the wait.

If you liked the movies I would recommend giving this a try.

I liked it as well. I'm a little more into it than you appear to be. There wasn't really much written about that time frame, which gives them a lot of wiggle room. My son refused to watch after watching some online complaints about it.
